Dr. Asya Grafy who’s a chemist, formulator and manager of the team of scientists, which delivers progressive, cutting-edge skin care products from her own lab. With her team she continues to scour the earth for the best and most powerful ingredients based on the newest scientific discoveries in skin care therapy technologies, unique delivery systems and engineered complexes.
As years of exploring the secrets of nature, chemistry and formulation engineering in Faculty of chemistry and chemical engineering, Asja started to extract ingredients for her formulations. Owning the knowledge and the benefits of plant extracts, she graduated with a bachelor degree in high pressure extraction of rosemary acid. She developed new process of extraction resulting in extraordinarily high antioxidant properties which protect the skin and prevents signs of premature aging.
During her PhD study, Asja was exploring nano materials, nano emulsions and nano technologies at the leading Slovenian research institution, Jozef Stefan Institute. Her research was focused on nano oxide materials prepared by chemical solution methods. Institute gave her new possibilities to explore plant extract application in natural products.
Asya finished her PhD study by exploring the effects of chemical synthesis on size, stability and nature of end product. As a doctor, she published the first monograph: LAP LAMBERT Academic Publishing: Synthesis and Characterisations of Sol-gel Derived Thin Films.
In this year, she discovered FRUTOCLAR as a liquid solution that efficiently removes toxic pesticides, herbicides, waxes, soils and other chemicals from fresh fruits and vegetables without any health disturbing agents.
