In order to better understand and know our skin, we need to know its basic composition.
The skin has three layers:
- Epidermis – outer layer, which includes a barrier
- Dermis – which primarily consists of collagen and elastin, which ensure firmness and
elasticity of the skin - Hypodermis – the deepest layer of the skin consisting mainly of fat cells, which helps
to provide structure to the skin, blood capillaries, lymph vessels, sweat glands,
